As of today, there are 1.2 million Americans impacted by a blood cancer. This year, I am excited to announce that I have been given the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those affected through the seven-week 2019 Student of the Year campaign for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.

This year, my campaign team, Team Cancer Busters, and I have set a goal of raising $10,000 for the fight against blood cancer.

The Leukemia Lymphoma Society is a non-profit health organizaton who works towards finding a cure for blood cancers such as leukemia and myeloma and helping patients and families of those who have been diagnosed with a blood cancer. The money raised throughout the duration of the campagin goes directly to LLS and will be used to support their longstanding mission to find a cure and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.  

All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to busting blood cancer!They'll not only support LLS-funded research but will help provide critical information and support for patients, and support advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need.
