Welcome to Catherine Cashiola's SOY Fundraising Page!

Dear Friends and Family,
Today, 1.2 million Americans are fighting or are in remission from blood cancers and every 3 minutes another person unwillingly joins the fight. I have been given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join the battle and help those living with blood cancers. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) has nominated me as a candidate in their 3rd annual Students of the Year fundraising challenge, and I could not be more excited to make a difference in the lives of patients across the country. I am proud to lead my campaign team and work towards our goal to raise $10,000 during the next 7 weeks - from January 11th to March 1st.
I decided to run in this year’s campaign in honor of my Uncle Todd who fought and won his battle against Large B-Cell Lymphoma. Throughout his battle, I saw firsthand the strength and faith that my Uncle had, along with the closeness that came within their immediate family (my aunt and two cousins). This year is the 4-year anniversary of his remission and everyone in my family is very thankful that he has come this far.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the largest contributor to blood cancer research in the nation. I am honoring those who have battled blood cancers and raising money that will go directly to LLS in support of its longstanding mission to find a cure and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS has invested over $1 billion in research to date. Along with my team, I will work to increase awareness about the impact of blood cancers and the cutting-edge treatments that are currently being researched, as well as inspire others to join the fight to find a cure.
Leukemia still causes more deaths than any other cancer among children under the age of 20. My campaign provides an opportunity to support the critical work of LLS in fighting these diseases. It would mean a lot to me if you would consider donating to our campaign.
Aside from donations, we would love to hear from you, or someone you know, who would be willing to donate goods or services for auction items, sponsorships, grand finale gala table purchases, ads, or other possible fundraising opportunities. Large or small, your contribution to this worthy effort will be greatly appreciated.
Be a part of the cure and help my team compete in the Student of the Year campaign. For more information, please contact me at 281-725-2976 for more information about LLS and Student of the Year, please visit https://studentsoftheyear.org/students-year-houston
Sincerely,
Catherine Cashiola
