My Great Uncle Tom passed away suddenly from Acute Myeloid Leukemia and this affected all of us who knew and loved him. Witnessing the impact of this disease firsthand has made me even more passionate about contributing to the fight against it. My goal is to offer support to those who are battling this illness and to offer support to their families, who are also going through an incredibly difficult journey. By joining LLS, I hope to honor my uncle's memory and make a difference in the lives of those not only affected by lymphoma and leukemia but of all cancers.
