We are Students Striving for Surviving and we signed up to save lives through the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year campaign. Our names are Jack Bowe, Bennett Geissler, and Caden Geissler, and we are representing Perrysburg Schools and the City of Perrysburg in this important effort. LLS is a fantastic organization and we are filled with gratitude to have this opportunity to benefit a charity which we know can and will change how we attack cancer in our nation, and in the world. We are fighting on behalf of Bennett and Caden's lovely grandmother, Barb Archambeau, who is currently battling leukemia, and in memory of the late Julie Fisher Taylor, the beloved grandmother to our valued team member, Amelia Taylor. Our goal is to fund research into cures for blood cancer, advocate for patients, and provide mental and physical support for those dealing with this awful disease. The three of us have a great deal of faith in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and all that it stands for. We are fighting not for ourselves, but for all those affected by every type of blood cancer, including, but not limited to: patients, families, friends, doctors, and nurses. Beating Cancer Is In Our Blood.

Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibility.

They challenge the status quo—and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world – and lead the charge to create it.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers.

We are visionaries; we have a vision for a world without cancer, but we need your help.

This year, we are proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.

As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:

  • Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
  • Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
  • Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.

Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit our website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!

Thanks to your support, our efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.

On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!
