My name is Victoria Lim and I am a sophomore at Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet School. I am excited to fundraise for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society because this organization is very special to me. I was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) at the end of my 8th-grade year and was in between hospitalizations for 6 months. I was cancer free and in remission. Then, the summer before sophomore year, just days before my scheduled Make-A-Wish trip to Japan, my cancer relapsed. I was in and out of the hospital for another 6 months. I worked with LLS previously as the 2017 Girl of the Year for the MWOY campaign. It is extremely important for everyone who reads this to donate because thousands of children and adults go through what I went through and funding for research can help us find a cure. My team and I's goal is to raise $20,000. Help us fund a brighter tomorrow and donate. Thanks in advance for any and all donations!
