Chloe Guitron | Speak Now for a Cure
Chloe's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
Hello!
Did you know at least 480 people get diagnosed with blood cancer each day? Maybe you didn't, and that's okay but now you do! I think advocating is important and is also so easy! Just by using your voice, you can spread the word about the effects of cancer. My mission is to inform and bring awareness to cancer patients and their families! I have a goal of $50,000 and with the help of you, we can get there and benefit families in need. Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my page!

My grandma and my team!
The photo above on the left, is of my grandma and I walking back to our hotel room after a day at the beach, passing by you would have never known the burden cancer has on my grandma, she was struck many years ago and has recovered now but she still has to live her life more cautiously and need more care. I think it's important for people to know what cancer does to people, along with their families. The second photo on the left is a photo of my team, which I created to come together to bring awareness to people like my grandma, to find a cure, and to help them live a life where they thrive!

Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibilities.
They challenge the status quo—and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world – and lead the charge to create it.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers.
Hi! Some fun facts about me are I absolutely love advocating and giving back to my community. I love working with children and animals especially. I also love hiking more than anything! I want to become a child life specialist when i grow older as my career path. My goal as a 16 year old is to bring awareness and spread info about this amazing cause. The photo of me on the top is at an LLS event making cute Christmas crafts for children at the hospital during the holidays to bring a smile to their faces!
I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help.
This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.
As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:
- Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
- Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
- Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!
Thanks to your support, my efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!
