When I was only 8 years old, my mother was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

My family and I were very frightened by this news, and my mother was forced to go through months of very difficult treatment. Fortunately, my mother was able to win her battle and came out cancer-free. Sadly, many families across the world have had to endure the same experience, and too many families have ended up losing a loved one because of it. By contributing to lifesaving research that one day could cure cancer for good, more children will be able to grow up knowing their mothers and fathers.
