Hello there! I'm Aarna, a sophomore at Sycamore High School. Alongside my friends, I have signed up to save lives with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and am working to raise as much money as possible over the next 7 weeks. As one of the candidates for The A-Team 2.0, I would hope to gain your support as my candidates, team members, and I battle cancer together! Every single dollar raised counts. Will you help us on our mission?

As an aspiring pediatrician, I have always been interested in how I could help the medical community, especially children who are often overlooked. I love working with kids and, as an English mentor at the High School and a Math tutor over the summer, I've had the opportunity to work with some amazing students through the years. Some of my other passions include the piano, which I've played for the past 10 years; robotics; learning Chinese and music theory. 

As you know, everyone wins when cancer loses. Thanks to your support, my efforts will help fund therapies and treatments that are saving lives. Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers.
 
Many LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic, and prostate cancers. And LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day.
 
We really are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!
