Hey! We are M.A.D LLS-- a group of highschoolers working to raise as much as possible for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society over the next 7 weeks.  M.A.D stands for "Make A Difference", because we are determined to help find a cure and change the world for the better. Through auctions, sports tournaments, and other exciting events, we hope to surpass our goal of raising $25,000 for cancer research and treatment. However, the 11 members of our team won't be able to do this entirely by ourselves: We need your help! We've witnessed and experienced how cancer can affect the lives of our closest friends and family members, and we are excited to take part in this fundraising campaign to help eliminate blood cancers altogether.  Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers. Many LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. And LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day.
