I accepted my nomination in honor of my grandfathers. My maternal grandfather, Kenneth Wallett, suffered cancer in 2006, and my paternal grandfather, Jeff Hooper, beat his battle with breast cancer. This has inspired me to help in finding a cure so that everyone has a chance at a life beyond cancer.
