We are team EveryPennyCounts! Our team is made of 2 leaders and 11 team members, each of which is excited to participate in the 2019 Students of the Year program. The program is a seven-week initiative in which select high school students from around the country participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We are proud to be raising critical dollars, we all have our own insperations and reasons for for joining the campain. Our mission is to not only raise the most money but also to bring attention to blood cancers like leukemia, which is the most common form of cancer in children and teens.

Since the early 1960s, five-year survival the rate for blood cancer patients has grown to 67%, a number our team hopes to increase. Many LLS supported therapies help not only blood cancer patients but also patients with other cancers and serious diseases. In fact, drugs first approved for blood cancers are now approved to treat patients with stomach cancers, skin cancers, and autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis.

We are working together to really help save lives!

All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. Donations go directly toward LLS-funded research and will help LLS provide critical information and support for patients. Donations also help LLS ensure that all blood cancer patients have access the care and treatments they need. Every Penny Donated Counts!! :)
