This is Keely McCosh, Molly Butkovich, and Brycen Haucke, and we are the Krazies Kicking Cancer! The Krazies Kicking Cancer is a team that we have created to help raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, also known as LLS.
Today, 1.4 million Americans are fighting or are in remission from blood cancers. Sadly, every 3 minutes another person unwillingly joins the fight. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) has nominated us as candidates in their annual Students of the Year fundraising challenge, and we could not be more excited to make a difference in the lives of patients across the country! We are proud to lead our campaign team and work towards our goal to raise $100,000 during these 7 weeks - from February 17th - April 9th. $100,000 is a huge goal and we need your help!
Each of us have a personal connection to this campaign. Keely lost her grandfather and great grandfather to Leukemia, Brycen lost his grandfather to a strain of lymphoma, and Molly has a very close family friend who had Hodgkins Lymphoma, but ended up beating it and she now plays D1 volleyball! Our mission is to raise money in honor of these special people and help give others a chance for more time with their loved ones.
Leukemia still causes more deaths than any other cancer among children under the age of 20. Our campaign provides an opportunity to support the critical work of LLS in fighting these diseases. It would mean a lot to us if you would consider donating to our campaign.
