I wanted to run for Student Visionaries of the Year to create an opportunity for others, and myself, to help a cause when they feel like they are in a position where they cannot do anything. Recently, my grandfather who lives in South Korea, was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Fortunately, they were able to catch the cancer in its early stage, and they were able to remove it safely. I am so grateful because not all cases end as well as it did for me. However, still during the time, the feeling of not being able to do anything for him was awful. I hope to give an opportunity to others who have also felt this way through Student Visionaries of the Year. Together, we can beat cancer!
