Team's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
Greetings from Team Generation Cure! We are proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.
We have signed on to fundraise for LLS because our friend and neighbor, Luke Griffith, was diagnosed with Lymphoma last April and lost his battle with cancer in September. We met Mr. Griffith years ago when he was our soccer coach, and our families formed a close friendship since we had so much in common. Luke was a devoted dad of our two close friends; Samuel and Anna. He was involved in community service and fundraising for his favorite causes. He was a fantastic athlete who loved to run and competed in many triathlons. Mr. Griffith’s battle with cancer has inspired us to become involved with LLS and raise funds for research so that our generation can be the first to say we have a cure for a cancer diagnosis.
As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:
- Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
- Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
- Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit our website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!
Thanks to your support, our efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer without a cure.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!
With gratitude,
Team Generation Cure, Will and Colin Mrozinski
