Hi everyone, we are Julia Chan, Gia Gupta, and Sophia Liu, students at Cherry Hill High School East. We are so honored to share with you that we are signing up to save lives by accepting our nomination to participate in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)'s 2022 Students of the Year campaign. In the 7 weeks from January 26th to March 19th, we will be raising awareness and funds for LLS and their mission to cure blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma. We have been given an incredible opportunity to make a difference in the fight against cancer and we cannot do it without your support.

Because cancer has physically, emotionally, and financially affected not only our close family and friends but also millions of people around their world and their loved ones, we want to continue the fight to make sure we are the last generation affected by blood cancer. 

As you know, everyone wins when cancer loses. Thanks to your support, my efforts will help fund therapies and treatments that are saving lives. Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers.
 
Many LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. And LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day.
 
We really are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!
