Hi! My name is Ayza Sayany and I am a junior at Cherry Hill High School East! I am elated to have received the honor of being a candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) 2022 Students of the Year Campaign. Along with my friend Sophie Ahsan, I have been chosen to lead Team Silver Linings to run a 7 week campaign from January 26th to March 19th to help LLS in its mission to treat and cure blood cancers. I am so excited to be a champion for this cause, and I ask for your generosity and support for my campaign.

 
All of the money raised will go directly to LLS, the largest blood cancer research and donor program in the nation. LLS has helped advance 85% of blood cancer treatment options approved by the FDA since 2017, and with your help, they can help ensure that patients will have cutting edge treatments for blood cancer. My father, a pediatric dentist, has treated many children with blood cancer, and through him, I have become aware of the great suffering these patients and their families endure. In addition, my great uncle passed away from Leukemia when he was young, leaving his three small children behind. In his honor and memory, I want to help find a cure for this devastating disease so others do not have to suffer the loss of a loved one due to blood cancer.

Today I ask for your support to help LLS find a cure to blood cancers and to assist those patients and their families who are struggling. 1.3 million Americans are fighting bloood cancer or in remission, and with your help, we have the opportunity to change their lives for the better. 

All donations are tax-deductible and will go towards supporting LLS research as well as patient services, advocacy, education, and community services. Any amount of money is greatly appreciated.
