I’m proud to join LLS’s Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign to raise as much as possible for their mission—and I need your help.

I was inspired to start this journey because of my dad’s friend, whose courage and determination in the face of cancer deeply moved me. For months, she dealt with worsening back pain that no one suspected was serious. After persistent testing, she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. By then, the disease had already damaged her spine, making her road to recovery even harder.

Her journey has been incredibly tough—hospital stays, exhausting treatments, and doubts. But she never gave up. With the support of her family, friends, and her own strength, she kept moving forward. She told me that positive thinking, patience, and encouragement made all the difference. Her story inspires me every day to take action for others facing similar battles, to give them hope, resources, and a chance to heal.
