Hello everyone!

Welcome to my fundraising page! Everyone has heard of the disease...cancer. It’s a catastrophic illness that impacts millions each year. It’s easy to push cancer onto the back burner if you don’t have to worry about it often, but the disease is still impacting many of my friends and family each year. I want to help them however I can and together, we can help make a difference!

This is my fifth year as a part of the Student Visionaries of the Year campaign for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) and my third year as a candidate for our team, Answer for Cancer! This year, unfortunately, will be my last year as an active member of the team as I will be graduating in June, so  I hope to end my time fundraising with a bang!

Student Visionaries of the Year is a seven-week fundraising campaign that lasts from January 26th - March 15th. As one of two candidates, I help lead the team and am responsible for our ultimate effort to reach our goal, so that we can hopefully find a cure, or at least help those affected. Last year, as a team, we raised almost $60,000 because of people like you who support this cause!

Over the years, LLS has raised over 1 Billion dollars total in cancer research with over 40% of cancer treatments and drugs coming from LLS-funded research. Donations are not only used to treat blood cancer patients, but also those affected by other cancers and diseases, like breast and liver cancers, multiple sclerosis, and Alzheimer’s disease.

My personal goal for this year is to fundraise $2,500! Last year I reached my goal of $5,000 thanks to everyone’s support. All donations are 100% tax deductible! The LLS Tax ID # is 13-5644916.

Thank you so much for helping support my journey these past few years. Over my last 4 years on the team, I have individually raised $15,476.25 for this organization. I'm so proud of my contributions and I’m so excited to see what my final year will bring!
