Dear friends and family, 

I am excited to announce that I am taking part in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s annual Student Visionaries of the Year campaign again and am a member of Team Answer for Cancer. Student Visionaries of the Year is a seven week long event that raises money for blood cancer research and patient support. It lasts from January 26th to March 15th. During that time, my team is working hard to raise funds that will go towards finding a cure and helping those affected by cancer.

As some of you may know, my aunt passed away due to leukemia in 2009. I have experienced the damage that cancer causes, and I don’t want anyone else to have to battle this disease or deal with the loss of a loved one due to cancer. This is why this campaign is so important to me. LLS is one of the largest organizations in blood cancer research and they are working to both save lives and support those affected by cancer.

If you are able to make a donation to LLS, any amount will be greatly appreciated and will go to a great cause. All donations are 100% tax deductible and LLS’s tax ID is 13-5644916. Thanks to the overwhelming support I received last year, I was a part of the 5k Club for raising over $5,000 and I hope to be a part of it again! It’s a high goal, but I am confident that I can reach it with all of your help and I know that it will make an impact on LLS’s goal to cure cancer!

Since their inception in 1949, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has invested nearly $1.5 billion in cutting-edge research and are the leading source of free education and support for blood cancer patients and their families. They have funded nearly 200 research grants worldwide, assisted in the advancement of 75% of FDA approved blood cancer treatment options since 2017, and provided more than $431 million in co-pay financial assistance. They are impacting countless lives across the globe in their fight against blood cancer.
