Our Honored Hero

Dear Friends and Family,

I am writing to you because I have been given the opportunity to make a difference in the fight against blood cancer. Two years ago I joined a club at school called Race to Rescue. Our club formed a team to raise money for The Leukemia Lymphoma Society or LLS. LLS is dedicated to research for blood cancer and also supporting the families of those who have been affected by cancer. 

I am more than excited to participate in the Students of The Year campaign for LLS. This campaign runs from January 13, 2021 to March 6, 2021 and is a friendly competition between teams from various high schools to raise the most money. Race to Rescue has set an ambitious goal- to raise $18,000 in just 7 weeks, and we need your help! All of the funds raised go directly to LLS and fund their mission to find cures for blood cancers. LLS has invested over 1 billion dollars in cancer research to date. Through this club and organization, my teammates and I will raise awareness about different blood cancers and fund research that will lead to new treatments to help people defeat cancer. 

Leukemia kills more people under 20 years old than any other cancer. I have friends who have been affected by cancer, and I hope that the funds we raise will bring us one step closer to a cure. Through this campaign, I am honoring those who have lost their battle against blood cancers. It would mean the world to me if you would consider donating to our campaign.
