Grayson's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
I joined the Student Visionary of the Year campaign because tragically, like so many others, my family has been personally affected by blood cancer. A few years ago, I lost my Grandfather to Leukemia. Since then, I have been determined to ensure no family has to experience the pain of losing a loved one to cancer. We named our team "Dollars for Deed" in honor of my grandfather, Deed. I am fundraising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to raise money for innovative research, patient support, and, ultimately, finding the cure for cancer. I want my generation to be the last to have to experience the devastating effects of cancer.
This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.
As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:
- Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
- Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
- Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
Please consider supporting our campaign and helping us in the fight against cancer. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please share this link with others and tell friends to donate as well! Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.
Thanks to your support, our efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!

Congratulations Grayson for being a champion of this very worthy cause. I don't think you know all about our family history and cancer, but my mother (Florence Connell) died from cancer when she was only 38 years old. Aunt Patty, Uncle Dave & I were 15, 13 and 11 years old respectively and I have dedicated our donation to my mom. We appreciate all of the work being done by you and your team. Keep up the good work?
