My appreciation for your support cannot be overstated — each and every dollar donated to LLS brings us closer to our goal to end blood cancer and makes an impact for cancer patients and their families. While I may not have a family member who has a blood cancer, I do have family members who have had other cancers. Going into this, I had no idea  how common blood cancers are in children; it just seemed unreal to me that any family should have to hear that their child has cancer. I’ve always been interested in sciences, especially ones like chemistry. I've been considering pursuing a career with LLS to help research and end blood cancer. Joining this campaign allows me to create contacts that would help me in the future and allows me to appreciate all of the hard work that goes into something like this.
