Charles's Students of the Year Fundraiser
Hey, this is Charles! Over the next several weeks, I will be working with a group of fellow high schoolers to raise money for the universal fight against cancer. Read to learn more about why I am fundraising and how you can support the cause!
When I was in elementary school, the 5th grade teacher suffered from leukemia. Some days she came to school with a weak voice, some days she came with dark bags under her eyes, and some days she came with a bandana around her head to cover her hair loss. She fought a hard battle with blood cancer, eventually having to leave the school because of her illness. The whole school mourned the loss of her vibrant personality and wonderful teaching skills. I am fundraising for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) because blood cancer affects everyone, not just its patients.
We really are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!
All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. They'll not only support LLS research, but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support! For more information about LLS, please visit www.lls.org
