Team's Students of the Year Fundraiser

Feb 02, 2021

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page, welcome!

We encourage you to join us in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to our fundraising campaign. By donating to LLS, you support the many facets of LLS’s mission work from investing in groundbreaking research, providing education and support to patients, and advocating at the state and federal level for legislation to help those living with cancer. Our appreciation for your support cannot be overstated — each and every dollar donated to LLS brings us closer to our goal to end blood cancer and makes an impact for cancer patients and their families.

We both (Paula Stephens and Hailey Hensley) want to work in the medical field when we are older and fundraising for LLS is anamazing start to that career! Our goal is to raise $50,000. This is very important to us because we want to fight for all of those who cannot. We want to show that you can never be too young to make a difference in people's lives. We've all known people who have been through cancer and lost their lives to cancer, and we are here to help. We want to be a part of the process that puts and end to people's suffereing by the means of cancer. We want our generation to be the last to see cancer without cures.

As a global leader in the fight to end cancer, LLS is committed to doing more for blood cancer patients and families than any organization in the world. LLS’s signature fundraising campaigns drive critical support for its mission, including a nearly $1.3 billion investment in cutting edge cancer research worldwide since it was founded in 1949. Since the 1960s, survival rates for many blood cancer patients have doubled, tripled, or even quadrupled.

Every facet of LLS’s mission – research, education and support, and policy and advocacy – work in harmony to put blood cancer patients and their families first. LLS has helped millions impacted by cancer throughout its more than 70-year history, even funding breakthrough blood cancer research to advance lifesaving treatments and cures that is now helping patients with other cancers and diseases. That is why at LLS we say that beating cancer is in our blood.

Please share our websites with everyone you know who would also like to join us in the fight against cancer. Together, we have the power, the passion and the resolve to achieve a world without blood cancer. All donations are tax-deductible.

On behalf of cancer patients and their families everywhere, we sincerely thank you for your support!

My best friend from 7th grade married my brother. They had two babies a boy & girl. Sadly my best friend/sister inlaw Cindy passed away at the tender age of 23 from leukemia. Leaving my heartbroken brother to raise a 2 & 3 year old. He struggled but was doing his best and got remarried to a evil woman.my neohew and niece were treated like unwanted step children. The abuse was so bad they lost custody at one point but got them back again. The abuse continued. Physical and mental. My spineless brother would not stand up to her. Her 3 kids were treated like normal kids. They lived on the desert at one point 125 degrees outside. She would not let them have water. They would crawl under the porch and drink the dogs water.these beautiful children were treated horrible. They were robbed of their childhood. If their beautiful Mom cindy was not lost to leukemia they would have had a beautiful childhood. This cause is very important to me. I NEVER want a child to suffer as my neice & nephew did
