ABOUT LLS

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is a global leader in the fight against cancer. The LLS mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world, provides free information and support services, and is the voice for all blood cancer patients seeking access to quality, affordable, coordinated care. OUR HONORED HERO

Our local chapter's honored hero is Emma Geiselman!

Emma is a 14 year old survivor of acute lymphoblastic leukemia and she chose to share her story to inspire others and help spread awareness. Emma is currently a freshman at a local high school and she loves gymnastics and her corgi named Gidget. Thanks to research funded by LLS, Emma is celebrating nine years in remission!
