As many of you may know, cancer is one of the most dangerous and widespread disease that has affects and kills millions of people around the world.  The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society was founded in a time when cancers were unstoppable, and they've made great progress in fighting cancers throughout the years, investing more than a billion dollars against cancer, funding many of the treatments for blood cancers, and working constantly to achieve their mission:  saving and improving the quality of life for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and hodgkin's disease.

Our team, Husky Healthcare! came together from Sheldon High School.  Fighting cancer is something we do together, it's about bringing each other together, and uplifting one another through the struggle.  All of us are being a part of the Students of the Year program, a program that helps raise money against blood cancers, in honor of everyone around us.  Each person has their own story about cancer, and together, we know that the impact that we, and yourself, could make in this seemingly endless fight against cancer will bring us one step closer to the end.
