My name is Susan Razaqpur and I am a sophomore at Pleasant Grove High School. When I first heard of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, I was immediately interested in the prospect of helping others. However, I was not yet aware of the severity of these cancers and how they can impact families. After learning more about the program, I was excited to get started and join the Students of the Year Program. After I joined, I was further inspired and fueled by hearing the story of our Honored Hero, Emma! Now, I am more inspired than ever to prevent other children like Emma from having to go through these terrible cancers, which is possible through the efforts of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!
