Hey! Welcome to my Fundraising Page for LLS!

I’d like to sincerely thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page, from where I collect online donations for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), one of the global leaders in the fight to end cancer. Since the 1960s, survival rates for many blood cancer patients have doubled, tripled, or even quadrupled. LLS’s signature fundraising campaigns drive critical support for its mission (to raise money for Leukemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma, and Hodgkin’s Disease patients and improve their quality of life and comfortability), including a nearly $1.3 billion investment in cutting edge cancer research worldwide since it was founded in 1949. 

I’m Ravi Tammana, a junior at Pleasant Grove High School. In addition, I’m also the Digital Manager and a Team Member of Team In It To Cure It, one of the many teams at our school looking to make a difference to blood cancer patients and collecting donations for that cause. Team In It To Cure It is the biggest team at our school, composed of several individuals looking to work with one another to make the biggest impact and create change with blood cancer. We are all diverse, unique, and motivated to work diligently towards this great cause. 

If I had to describe myself in one word, it would be unique. I’d like to say I’m a unique individual, and I also participate in many unique activities. I’m part of the IDEA Engineering Program, Robotics Club, and MESA Club, but I also actively assist my community and spend a great amount of time volunteering, all of these in addition to participating in LLS. However, I have a purpose for each of these activities, all of which I believe make me a more improved person. I participate in my engineering and math activities to become a better engineer and smarter mathematically, I participate in community service because I want to make my community a much better place for others to live in, and I participate in Team In It To Cure It to help save the lives of blood cancer patients. That is my purpose for participating in this team; I want to help those who don’t deserve the fate they’re given as much as I possibly can. That’s why I hope to collect donations from kind people who want to help blood cancer patients and help me make a change. 

LLS is an organization that saves the lives of so many blood cancer patients, and is one that needs to continue to do its job. For us to accomplish, we require donations to fund LLS research and help blood cancer patients pay for treatment. I want LLS to do their job and continue saving the lives of blood cancer patients around the world who need a miracle, which is why I hope to do my part by performing whatever is necessary to assist LLS. I want to do my part to aid blood cancer patients in their difficult battle for their lives against cancer, and to do that I have to collect donations for LLS. My personal goal is to raise $5000, which I can use towards this great and lifre-changing cause. 

Online donations constitute around 73% of total LLS funds,so every donation is life-changing and makes a difference. We are advancing 57 out of 66 blood cancer treatment options, changing the lives of blood cancer patients. All donations are appreciated and used to advance our great cause. All donations are tax-deductible.
