Jaden's Students of the Year Fundraiser
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, welcome!
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Students of the Year (SOY) is a seven week campaign created to raise money for patients with blood cancer. We will raise money through February with direct donations, fundraisers, community events, and much more. These funds will go directly to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society where it will make a large impact towards the lives affected by blood cancer and the research conducted to cure it.
Our team’s goal is to raise $10,000 for LLS, and we can only reach this through the help of the community. We want to come together to help make a difference and become a part of the generation that puts an end to cancer!
Why I joined the fight against blood cancer-
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services. With almost 200,000 people estimated to be diagnosed with blood cancer in 2020, it makes up for 10% of cancer cases in the US. This may just seem like another statistic, but our 2021 honored hero, Emma, made these facts really hit home. Emma was diagnosed with ALL (Acute lymphoblastic leukemia) in 2009 when she was only three years old. Seeing as she is only a few years younger than myself, it is really eye opening to see the range that Leukemia & lymphoma effects on people across the country. After our campaign leaders shared Emma’s story with the team I knew that I needed to help support this organization in their endeavors to end cancer.

In memory of my father who died from cancer. May these funds help find a cure.

In memory of my father, Ted Hay, an exceptional man whose cancer took him from us much too soon. May we find a way to end this terrible disease and share more time with those we love.
