Team Tooley is honored to participate as a team for the 2019 Students of the Year program, a seven-week initiative in which select high school students from around the country participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The team is proud to support our candidates Colin O'Donnell,Chloe Beebout,and Alyssa Jacobsen.

Our mission is to not only raise the most money but also to bring attention to blood cancers like leukemia, which is the most common form of cancer in children and teens.

 We are raising critical dollars in honor of Ryan Tooley who is a close friend of the O'Donnell Family. 

Ryan attends University of Nebraska where he plays rubgy. He was diagnosed with Leukemia after returning home from his Freshman year of college.  He went through the grueling process of treatment for almost a year and received results that he was cancer free in early 2017. We are truly inspired by Ryan's battle and hope to be able to raise funds to name a research grant in his name. Ryan is back at school, playing Rugby and looking forward to graduating college next year.

Since the early 1960s, five-year survival rates for many blood cancer patients have doubled, tripled or even quadrupled. And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are helping patients with other cancers and serious diseases. In fact, drugs first approved for blood cancers are now approved to treat patients with stomach cancers, skin cancers, and autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis.
