I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help.

I am proud to be a part of the LLS Student Visionaries of the Year campaign for the second time! Last year I was a team member, the mission inspired me to lead my own campaign this year. As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:

• Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
• Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
• Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.

My team has moved to support specifically the patient support branch of LLS- researching and every day moving closer to a cure. Cancer is an all too familiar story for so many families, including mine. In 2017 I lost my Pompo to liver cancer, and within a year my other Grandpa received a terminal diagnosis. I remember them everyday, and their memory has inspired me in so many ways, including joining a cause that makes a difference. I hope my effort can inspire you to join this cause as well.
