Students of the Year Denver
Kate Kennedy | Red Card Against Cancer
Kate's Students of the Year Fundraiser
Welcome To My Fundraising Page.
Hello everyone, my name is Kate Kennedy and I am a sophomore and D'Eveyln Jr. Sr. High School. I have been nominated for this amazing opportunity known as Students of the Year, which is organized through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Every dollar raised counts as one vote for my campaign. The candidate(s) whose team tallies the most votes earns the prestigious title of Student or Students of the Year. I would love it if you could help me earn this title and LLS in their mission to put an end to cancer.
When a friend of mine approached me with this opportunity, I immediately thought of all my family who has been impacted by cancers like Lymphoma, breast, and more. Some of these families members beat their cancer and have been cancer survivors of over 25 years. Due to this, it was a very easy decision for me to accept this opportunity and help fundraise to give other families a better chance.
As you know, everyone wins when cancer loses. Thanks to your donations, our efforts will help fund therapies and treatments that are saving lives. Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers. Many LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic, and prostate cancers. LLS not only helps with blood cancer, other tumor types but also help with other diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. And LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day.
We are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!
All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. They'll not only support LLS research, but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
Please visit my website often and share it with your friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support! For more information about LLS, please visit www.lls.org
