15 years ago my Papa was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. Ever since then he has been struggling with this cruel disease.  He has gone through several rounds of chemotherapy, radiation and has been on several drugs.  This year has been extremely hard because I have not been able to see my Papa. The pandemic has quarantined him since March 2020 because of his weakened immune system. Also, LLS funding, aids with research for Type 1 DIabetes.  As you may know, my younger sister has lived with Type 1 Diabetes since she was 2. I want to cure blood cancers and other diseases so that my loved ones can live long happy lives. Together we can make this a possibility!

LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled.

And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.

We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
