Students of the Year Denver
Ryan Nicholson | Ryan Nicholson's Campaign Team
Welcome to Ryan Nicholson's SOY Fundraising Page!
I am honored to participate in the 2019 Students of the Year program, a seven-week initiative in which select high school students from around the country participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Every three minutes someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer. Every ten minutes someone dies from a blood cancer. Help me change this
My motivation for finding a cure to blood cancer is rooted in my late Aunt, Candi Lewis and Baby Melia, (both pictured above).
~Candi was diagnosed with a rare type of AML on March 16th and lost her battle on March 20th - just 4 short days later. It hit her with a massive, aggressive force! Her kids, husband, friends & family were all in shock and heart broken - she was just 62!
~Baby Melina passed away in 2004 at 10 months old from complications of Infant Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
You never know if your donation may be what finally cures cancer. With your help, we can cure cancer and while doing so, make many
advancements in other areas. In fact, 40% of cancer-fighting therapies have led to advancements in treatment for other diseases such as Alzheimer's, arthritis, skin disease, and autoimmune diseases.
By being involved in this organization, you have the opportunity to help millions of people affected by all different diseases. Please join me in this fight to cure cancer and with your help, we
can do it.
How to donate
You can learn more about my mission with LLS and make a tax deductible donation by going to
my website: https://events.lls.org/rm/denversoy19/rnicholson
or you can send in a check made out to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and in the memo line write my name, Ryan Nicholson.
The check can be sent in to the LLS Colorado office at
720 S Colorado Blvd Suite 500-S, Denver, CO 80246
Thanks so much!
