Hello, my name is Lukas. I am a junior at The Greene School. My passions are film, music, and filmmaking. I joined our team Empower to Cure because I want to do what I can to give back. A few years ago, my grandfather died of cancer, and I saw how it affected those around me. When my co-captains first approached me about joining their team for Student Visionaries of The Year, I just couldn’t resist. I love spending time with my family, and I hope to raise enough money so that other families anywhere won’t have to go through what mine did.

• Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
