Dear Friends and Family,

It is with great pride and immense love that I announce, my daughter Haley, has been chosen to run for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society 2020 Student of the Year program.  This fundraising campaign is an intense seven week initiative in which select high school students from around the country compete to benefit LLS.

For those of you who may not know, Haley is first in her junior class at Jupiter High School, out of 775 students. She is on the National JO Diving team and also volunteers weekly at Jupiter Medical Center, as it’s her goal to be a physician.   Because of her love of medicine and her compassion for helping others, she is so excited to have been given the opportunity to help assist the LLS to find a cure for blood cancer.

The funds that Haley and her team raise are in honor of her great grandfather who died of a rare blood cancer, Polycythermia Vera, at the age of 71.  These funds we raise will go directly to LLS in support of its longstanding mission to find a cure for blood cancers and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Each dollar Haley raises is a vote for her campaign; and one step closer to finding a cure for blood cancers.  The candidate who raises the most money at the end of the seven weeks is named the Student of the Year. 

We greatly appreciate your donation to her cause, as well as help spreading the word through social media and email lists.  The campaign ends March 6th – so NOW is the time!!  No donation is too small or large.  There are many ways to support Haley and her campaign for LLS – to help find a cure for blood cancers.
