Welcome To My Fundraising Page.

My first ride in the Scenic Shore 150 Bike Tour was 2018.  When it was all said and done, I rode the entire 150 miles into a 15-20 mph head winds and Saturday afternoon in a down pour.  Until Thanksgiving morning in 2018, I was not sure if I was going ride the event again.  That all changed suddenly when I got a reminder why we need conquer Leukemia.

At 6 am Thanksgiving morning, my wife lets out a horrible scream.  A young mother who went to school with my step-daughter, lost her 3 year old daughter to Leukemia. Kinnley was taken from her family early that Thanksgiving morning.  It was then I knew I had no choice but to ride again in 2019 for her, for Theresa and for everyone that is fighting, survived and will get Leukemia in the future.

Kinnley was diagnosed with Leukemia on 11/6/2018 and passed on 11/22/2018 at the tender age of 3.  The holidays will never be the same for her family.

In January 2016, Theresa Campbell was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of Leukemia. She put up a 4-month fight but in the end, it was too much. During those 4 months, she spent most of the time in the hospital at the University of Michigan which Stacy and I spent many nights and every weekend sitting with her and her husband. Two years ago, her husband, a very good friend of mine, rode in the Scenic Shore 150 Bike Tour just 4 months after having open heart surgery. He rode to raise money for this horrible disease that took his wife.

The fight continues!  The sweat, tears and pain I endure during training and the ride is nothing compared to the pain and loss that these families deal with everyday.   This will be my 3rd year riding in and fundraising for this cause that have taken so many before their time.

Please join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, my efforts, will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today.

LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled.

And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.

We really are changing the face of blood cancer!

All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.

Please visit my Web site often and bring friends who would also like to donate!

On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere I thank you for your support!

Happy to hear someone close whom I work with doing this for such an important cause. Glad to be part of such team and do my part.
