Dear family and friends,

One day I got a phone call that changed my life. I was told, "You have Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma." I didn't even know what that was. So began this journey I am on. 

After a lot of research and the start of treatment, I have come to know this cancer well. One of the best resources for information, research, support and education for me has been the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. 

Because of LLS' advancements over the years, the blood cancer survival rate has doubled and tripled; in some cases, the rate has even quadrupled. I am supporting LLS through the Scenic Shore 150 because I want to ensure that research and survival rates continue to increase. Mine is by and large a curable cancer - and I hope you'll help us keep it that way. I am driving a sag wagon for the ride but my beloved partner, Lisa is riding.
