Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Scenic Shore 150 on Saturday, July 21 and Sunday, July 22, 2018.
An event of this size would not be possible without your hard work and dedication! We need your help filling a number of volunteer positions that are crucial to making the 2018 Scenic Shore 150 run smoothly. As a volunteer, you make a difference to the millions of people whose lives are touched by blood cancers.
New This Year!
Volunteers can create "teams" and earn special recognition at this year's event. Volunteers may also create sub-teams of Scenic Shore 150 rider teams.
For example,
If there is a team of riders formed under "Team XYZ" a volunteer associated with that team may create a team named "Team XYZ Volunteers" or any other name they choose. Other volunteers associatied with the team may then join at registration.
Special incentives available to Volunteer Teams!
- Earn special 10x10 rewards for your volunteer and riding team.
- Earn special recognition on our website and during this year's ride.
- Watch for other exciting incentives and friendly competition to be announced.
Volunteer team captains will be able to meet with LLS staff about recruiting volunteer team members, updates on team member assignments, and much more throughout the year. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to fundraise, if they chose.
This new process is being implemented to simplify the assigning of volunteer groups and to reward those groups that help our riders enjoy their ride weekend. The new volunteer teams will also allow us to grow our event by encouraging volunteer team leaders to become more engaged with the Scenic Shore 150 througout the entire year.
