Hi everyone! My name is Hannah, and I’m a firefighter with Tacoma Fire. This year marks my fourth year taking on the Firefighter Stairclimb to support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)—a cause that means so much to me.
Every step I take in this grueling climb is for those battling blood cancer. The funds we raise directly support lifesaving treatments, groundbreaking research, and crucial patient services. Thanks to the efforts of LLS, survival rates for blood cancers have doubled, tripled—even quadrupled over the years. Their impact goes beyond just blood cancer, helping advance treatments for stomach, skin, lung, brain, breast, pancreatic, and prostate cancers—even diseases like Diabetes and Multiple Sclerosis.
This fight isn’t just for those we’ve lost—it’s for those still fighting, for the families who need hope, and for a future without blood cancer.
Every donation makes a difference, big or small. And yes, it’s tax-deductible! Please consider donating and sharing this page with your friends and family. Your support means the world.
Thank you for standing with me in this fight!
With gratitude,
Hannah
