Welcome To My Fundraising Page.
My name is Jason Bostic, I am an Ambassador for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Firefighter Stair Climb. Over the past 19 years I have had the amazing opportunity to compete and fundraise for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through the Firefighter Stair Climb in Seattle, WA. I am proud to be the Ambassador representing the Midwest United States and International Firefighters who compete in our event.
What is the FF Climb?
The LLS Firefighter Stair Climb is the world’s largest event of its kind, putting firefighters to the grueling test as they race up the Columbia Center Tower in Seattle. 1356 steps, 69 floors, on SCBA, in full firefighting gear (around 40-60lbs) over 2000 firefighters gather to challenge each other and champion for the cause as we fundraise to find cures for blood cancer. Last year we raised a record breaking $2.61 million for blood cancer research and patient services.
I personally know what it’s like and what an organization like the LLS can do. My mother fought and won her battle with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (1986-1990) before receiving her “cure” the first unrelated, imperfect bone marrow transplant at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus.
How can you help?
Now in our 34th year of this event, we have raised over $25 million for the LLS, but the work is not done, the battle still continues. Over the last 19 years that I have been involved, I have raised almost $30,000 with help from some amazing people! I am looking for your help in making a difference, finding cures, and helping me reach my fundraising goals. If you are a business or organization, there are sponsorship opportunities that I would love to discuss.
THANK YOU for your continued support, the fight goes on. I greatly appreciate your efforts, donation, and commitment to ending blood cancers!
