Welcome Dan's Big Climb Fundraising page!
Please join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, my efforts, will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today. The climb is planned for 3/9/2025 in downtown Seattle at the Columbia Center.
LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled.
And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
On a personal note, I have an older brother that is a cancer survivor of over 20+ years. We also have a close member of our South Whidbey family community that is currntly in a cancer battle. Colette was one of the most postive and supportive people during my journey to be a firefighter. I couldn't be more thankful for her kindess to me and my family. I'm climbing these stairs for Colette, Hannah, and Miles alongside my newfound brothers/sisters at South Whidbey Fire/EMS. I couldn't be more proud to have this opportunity am honored to be a part of it.
If you could share my page with people you know, the cancer community would greatly appreciate it.
