Please join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, my efforts, will help fund therapies and treatments and help save lives today.

Last year I started my rowing journey with Team in Training, I had a running injury, needed a way to keep active while recooperating, had always been curious about rowing, and it was for a good cause, so I jumped in. I loved it more than I ever imagined I would!  After Team in Training I joined the Pocock Rowing Center and kept rowing all winter. I've been fortunate to have had some great coaches and have made signifigant improvment. 

Here I am in the stroke seat, in this seat you set the pace for the rest of the boat to follow. I've come a long way in a year.

This year I have a much closer connection to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. My Uncle Norman was diagnosed with a form of Leukemia just a few months ago, luckily while there is no cure there is a treatment, and he is doing amazingly well!  Research sponsored by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) has led to effective treatments of leukemia, lymphoma, breast and lung cancers. The research funded by LLS has had a direct impact on the lives of our family and friends. Any amount, great or small, gets us all closer to a world without cancer.
