YOU can help our Squad make a huge impact in the fight against cancer by making a contribution to our fundraising efforts! Thanks to your support, LLS is able to launch endeavors like The LLS Children's Initiative. This initiative seeks to accelerate treatments with fewer harmful side effects so that young patients like Andrew (below) not only survive, but thrive, for generations to come. 

Meet Andrew, a 5th grader in Montgomery County. Thanks to treatments like those funded by The Children's Initiative, Andrew remains in remission--and has even become close friends with Governor Hogan! He passes the time riding his bike, playing video games, and watching the Orioles. Andrew looks up to his sister, "Shadow Survivor" Julia, who was the DMV's top Hero Squad fundraiser last year!
