Hello B-CC families and students. It is time for Pennies for Patients! Last year B-CC raised $14,600 but we know we can do even better. That is why we have made it our goal to raise $20,000 by February 29th
This first week we have a lot of events planned that I wanted to tell you about.
Monday February 1st students will be decorating the main atrium with red and gold after school. If your student is able to stick around, they are able to earn SSL hours for helping to paint, hang streamers, make posters, etc. If your student would like to participate, have them meet at 2:40 in the main atrium.
On Wednesday February 3rd please join us at Potbelly in Bethesda from 4-8pm for a delicious dinner. 20% of the sales that evening will benefit LLS. Make sure to mention B-CC at the cash register.
On Saturday February 6th we will be running a bake sale at the Giant Foods on Arlington road from 11 am-3pm. Please stop by to buy some baked good or if your family would like to contribute a baked good, please bring it right at 11am.
We will be accepting online donations all month. Make a donation on this page!
In addition, your student can create a personal fundraising page, and if he or she raises $50 by the end of the month, they will receive a T-shirt from LLS.
For information about all other events this month visit the SGA Facebook and twitter accounts. This is our year to make a difference!! We are on the #RoadTo20k

Thank You for Visiting Our School Fundraising Page!
Please join us in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Series campaign. Your support will help fund the therapies and treatments that help save the lives of blood cancer patients today.
For over 65 years LLS has invested more than $1 billion to advance cancer therapies and save lives.
Last year alone, LLS invested nearly $79.8 million in cutting-edge research. And many LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients, but are now used to treat patients with other forms of cancers as well. Nearly 40% of new cancer therapies approved by the FDA between 2000 and 2014 were first approved for blood cancer patients.
We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
