For children with cancer, the reality is many of them may never make it to their prom. That is why The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society hosts Little Heroes Prom. Bringing together pediatric cancer patients from all over New Jersey, Little Heroes Prom provides one night where patients don’t have to worry about treatment, a hospital stay, or anything else associated with their cancer. Instead, their families, LLS staff, and members of their medical teams will be by their side on the dance floor, having fun and honoring them like HEROES they are.
This event is free of charge for pediatric cancer patients treated at hospitals throughout New Jersey. LLS invites children with ANY type of cancer, survivors and their families, caregivers, healthcare professionals involved in treating them to Little Heroes Prom. This magical evening includes a high energy DJ and party motivators, photo booth, a glam station, glitter tattoos, a sports arcade, build-your-own stuffed animal, and so much more!
For children who are admitted to the hospital on the evening of Little Heroes Prom, LLS delivers a “Prom-In-A-Box” to the hospital for them. Each box includes everything a child needs to feel included in the prom experience- a survivor t-shirt, commemorative medal, stuffed animal to build, and other themed activities.
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible.
With the help of KPMG, Little Heroes Prom will give these children a night they will cherish forever!
