Welcome to Team myTalk for the 2024 Big Climb at US Bank Stadium on April 20th, 2024!
This will be our 11th Year Climbing for this amazing event. For 2024, we will be Captained by Matt Belanger, myTalk107.1 Host as well as Channel 5 Eyewitness News Anchor. Matt is also the Host of the 2024 Big Climb. His personal connection is that he is climbing in loving memory of his partner Kyle’s sister, Jennifer, who was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in May of last year. She “beat” it where she got the all clear from doctors after months of chemotherapy and other treatments. And sadly, suddenly the cancer returned in an aggressive way and Jennifer died in October of this year at 48 years old. Matt is so happy to be joining the myTalk Team in her honor!
Co-Captain, Kelsey Sells, of myTalk107.1 Sales, is back for her 10th year climbing in loving memory of her family members who have lost their battles with blood cancer and other types of cancer including her uncle and godfather, Mike Larson, who lost his battle with AML in 2013.
Donna Valentine, myTalk Host of the Donna & Steve Show (weekdays 9am-12n), is also joining Team myTalk to climb for a cure on April 20th!

In the past 11 years, myTalk's Big Climb Team has raised over $90,000 for the LLS!!! Help us reach our goal to CLIMB. CONQUER. CURE.
Please join us in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to our fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, our efforts, will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today.
LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled. And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.
We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
Please visit my Web site often and bring friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere we thank you for your support!
