Welcome To My Fundraising Page!

As many of you know, cycling and supporting worthy causes are a passion of mine.  This year, I am participating in Velo Palmetto, a 3 day cycling journey through the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains based in Greenville, SC.  This signature event raises critical funds and awareness for Blood Cancer United, formerly The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

This ride is deeply personal for me this year. I am riding for Alex Gagnier, a former colleague who is currently fighting a very rare and aggressive form of cancer—Triple Negative Breast Cancer. While Blood Cancer United focuses on blood cancers, the research they fund has historically led to breakthroughs in treating many other types of cancer, including breast cancer. I am honored to pedal every mile in Alex's honor.

 

Since 1949, this organization has been at the forefront of funding cutting-edge research and providing vital support for patients and their families. They have set a bold goal: to enable blood cancer patients to gain more than one million years of life by 2040. Join me in helping them make this vision a reality for patients like Alex and so many others.
