In honor of Susan's Mother and Greg and Andrew's Grandmother, LeClaire, Team Wagner is participating in the Shred for Red Fundraising Event at Dear Valley Ski Resort on March 28th.
Please join us in supporting Blood Cancer United (The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to our March 28th Shred for Red fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, our efforts, will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today.
LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled.
But major challenges remain, in particular for Acute Myeloid Leukemias. The survival rate for AML is now 30%, improved from only 10% in 1967, when Susan (17), Lisa(11) and Patti(6)'s) mother LeClaire, died from AML, just after turniing 40. It was impossible for the family to recover from losing their mother so young. Clearly progress and innovations in treatment are happening, but your support is needed to help treat and cure this intractable cancer.
