Cancer is horrible. Especially when it's in your blood, constantly pumping through your body. Unfortunately that's what multiple family members of ours have gone through or are currently going through: R<EDACTED>, Eva, and David, and David. We've assembled Team R.E.D.D. for those that want to donate to the cause for the 3rd year and in hopes of advancing research through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). The event is held at Deer Valley in Park City, Utah and the resort covers the cost of putting on the event. The last 2 years made clear what a fantastic cause this is - would love for anyone to come join the team or meet up out there too! To be clear, all donations go to LLS (not travel/event costs etc).
Here's a little more background on who this team is raising in honor of:
(R)<EDACTED> - a family member on Joe’s side, diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL).
(E)va - our children's cousin, 9, diagnosed in 2023 with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). This year we celebrate Eva finishing her 2.5 years of treatment and ringing the bell in June 2025 - she remained positive, courageous, and strong throughout and we are thrilled for her!
(D)avid Q - Sarah's Dad, 68, diagnosed at 47, currently undergoing treatment for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL). David's been incredibly strong fighting this for over a quarter of his life, but he hasn't let it slow him down.
(D)avid B - Sarah's cousin, 30, diagnosed at 23 with Primary Mediastinal B-Cell Lymphoma, thankfully in remission for the past 6 years. This was an intense diagnosis and treatment - more on his story in this podcast (https://open.spotify.com/episode/1QQSc0fWGXPfcmTW13bz3L?si=RGD4jx3nRbuAAWviWTTFXA).
We pray and are helping raise funds for a breakthrough to help all blood cancer patients. Thank you for your time reading through this, considering donating, and/or joining the team (FYI it's a ski-only resort) to Shred for Red!

Welcome To My Fundraising Page.
Please join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, my efforts, will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today.
LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled.
And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.
We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
Please visit my Web site often and bring friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere I thank you for your support!
